Results for the round robins can be found at the website warrenjonesregatta.org.au. In flight 6 the wind built to a strong 20+ knots in the race area off RFBYC and we saw a number of oops including a massive collision between Boidin and Tiller as well as a bowl out by Chapman.

Mains have been reefed for the start of Flight 7. Boidin having already been given the black flag for his collision with Tiller in Flt 6 has smashed into his opponent in Flt 7 which is interesting for those who say to treat your boat like you treat your women.

RR1 Flight 13 The wind has increased to over 25knts and these little girls are flying downwind. Boidin v Reece Boidin held a strong lead around the first top mark of the 2 lap course, however he has a penalty against him. Boidin does a massive chinese in the 2nd downwind and has lost against Reece. Gibbs v Nicholas Gibbs has a commanding lead at the bottom mark first round after a screamer downwind. Gibbs holds this lead on the second slide and takes the win. Robertson v Tiller Tiller has a screaming 2nd downwind to take a win.

We currently have wind gusting over 30knts and the race control have put up the AP over H flag combination, sending competitors ashore pending further notice. I would say that with wind as consistent as it is presently further racing today is unlikely.

Is that because the Kiwis are thumping the Aussies again? Thought you would be used to that by now

Kiwis are doing okay, yes but Robertson is not undefeated.
Racing for the rest of the day has been cancelled with winds reaching 40+ of Rotto. Racing has been moved an hour forward tomorrow to make up for the delay. The decision has been made by the RO's that RR1 will be completed and only 8 flights of RR2 will be completed tomorrow in order to seed competitors for the semi's starting on thurs.
Kyle Langford had a bit of a set back today his fellow crewmember and brother Mark dislocating his knee in between races. Langford has substituted a local EFYC sailor in his stead.
Catcha tomorrow.

Round robin 1 is all over. in flight 14, Robertson beat Corbett, Langford beat Brown, Gibbs beat Boidin and Tiller beat Chapman.
Therefore going into the shortened Round Robin 2 the win to race percentages are ROBERTSON 90 GIBBS 50 CORBETT 40 LANGFORD 45 BOIDIN 5 TILLER 90 NICHOLAS 50 CHAPMAN 20 REECE 30 BROWN 30 GILMOUR 80
So Tiller is ahead with Robertson 2nd and Gilmour 3rd.

Round Robin 2 is about to get under way. A bit of a delay following changes to the wind direction.
